Freedom from Alcohol and Drugs

Relief from Depression

Restore Peace and Stability to Families

We understand what it is like to feel hopeless

The founder of Beacon for Life, Monte Maberry, struggled with alcohol until family stepped in to get him the help he needed. He now dedicates his time to bringing the hope he was given to others.

Nearly everyone has been effected by addiction or mental illness, either directly or through family and friends. Our board is made up of people who have been effected in some way by these afflictions. They volunteer their time to bring hope to individuals and families in need of help.

Will you join us in providing hope to individuals and families in need?

The Hope Plan

When Beacon For Life works with someone we bring them through our three-step plan to get them the help they need.

1. Initial Evaluation

Assess the willingness and ability to participate in their recovery.

2. Process Coaching

Help with navigating through choosing a facility, insurance, and financial requirements.

3. Admit to Treatment

Arrange for transportation and follow up with progress.

How Our Process Works

  • We don’t force anyone into treatment.
  • We help the afflicted and their families navigate treatment options.
  • We assess the financial burden and provide assistance where it is needed.
  • We help find the right facility for the individual’s unique needs. This includes finding availability as this is often an issue.
  • We are a resource providing peace and clarity during a time of great turmoil.

Results

When you choose to support Beacon for Life your funds are used to provide financial assistance to those who need a hand getting back on their feet. You are literally:

  • Saving a life.
  • Restoring relationships.
  • Helping people become productive employees.
  • Helping people become contributing members of the community.
  • Bringing freedom, joy, peace, and hope to a person’s life.
  • Allowing families to experience peace and calm.

What happens if we just do nothing? If we just keep doing what we’ve been doing? The story always ends the same with:

  • Suicide
  • Overdose
  • Jail
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Broken relationships

How I Got My Life Back

I was in a desperate situation. I was depressed. I was isolating and drinking myself to death. I had shut nearly everyone out of my life and had just about lost everything. Then a family member reached out to me and offered to help. Through their intervention, I was able to get the help I needed and started my own personal journey of recovery.

I am grateful for the help I received and now feel compelled to reach out to help others.

Beacon For Life

Since starting Beacon For Life we have had the opportunity to work with many different families and individuals. In the midst of a crisis situation, we coach the family through the process of getting help. We talk directly with the afflicted individual and get their agreement to participate in their recovery.

One young man we helped get into recovery was hooked on opioids. He had lost his job and his family because of his addiction.

As we worked together we were able to get this young man into a treatment facility that specialized in caring for his issues. Today he is living in recovery and his family is healing.

It’s Your Turn

When you partner with Beacon for Life your contribution is doing the following things:

  • Giving hope to people lost in despair.
  • Healing broken families.
  • Creating contributing members of the community.
  • Keeping people off the streets and out of jail.
  • Saving lives from suicide and overdose.

This is because your tax-deductible donations are used to provide financial assistance to individuals who can’t afford the cost of treatment on their own. Treatment can cost between $10,000 – $30,000. Most insurance only covers part of the cost. That is if they have insurance; many don’t have adequate insurance.

Nearly 100% of all donations go directly to funding recovery treatment. Our goal is to fund those who are willing to participate in their recovery and show a willingness to do whatever it takes.

We are a faith-based organization guided by Christian principles. Our board is all volunteers who share in these beliefs. If you have any questions about what we believe or our process please don’t hesitate to contact us.

It’s Decision Time

Please partner with Beacon For Life and give hope to the afflicted through your donation.

When you give you have the joy of knowing you have helped save a life and brought healing to a family.

A humble thank you from the board at Beacon For Life.

What’s at stake

When someone is caught in the grips of addiction or mental illness they have lost the ability to fix themselves. Their life is caught in a cycle of hopelessness and despair. If we don’t help them their options are limited and their time is running out. In our experience these are the consequences of not helping:

  • Suicide
  • Overdose
  • Jail
  • Broken Families
